Solution. #3. If the TV had a Scart connection it would have audio out from the TV. It sounds like the converter you purchased was to connect the Panasonic for playback on the HDMI input of the new TV. That won't allow you to get audio into the Panasonic from the TV.
I have done a bit of research in the internet where it says put the scart in 1st and then go into your PS3 Settings and change it to HDMI that way. But I'm 100% sure that I have done this before with hitting a button. Anyone's help is much appreciated. Kind Regards.
